When browsing through all the mainstream fashion high street retailers such as ; Topshop, Forever 21, Zara and Urban Outfitters during my day trip to Liverpool, I noticed that Tartan was a reoccurring trend within the shop windows and in store.
Tartan/checks are a current trend for A/W season, with designers such as Versace, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Erdem incorporating Tartan into their A/W 18 collections.
The Versace A/W collection has been highly influenced by 90s Fashion, particularly taking influence from the 90s film 'Clueless'.
